Be who you love, do what you love.

I want to accomplish many things this school year, mostly out of school. I believe that this year should be about taking classes that relate to what I want to do with the rest of my life and also things that I’m passionate about. I plan on going to college for two years in Buffalo, and then moving to Chicago to study film production at a private academy there. When creating my schedule for this year I really thought about what was important and what would most greatly help me with what I want to do. I’m taking English, a required economics course, band, digital imaging, and media production. All courses that relate to what I want to do in life. Sure I could be stressing myself to no limits with courses such as calculus and physics, but I want to be a producer, not a space engineer. This past summer I’ve started my own little film project and saved up for some professional equipment. I plan on creating or filming short films, commercials and weddings. I’ve already done a commercial for a local animal shelter and I’m doing a wedding in October. I’m really passionate about shooting, editing, and producing movies. I also have a love for my band and this year we will be recording a new five track CD. We plan on recording drums at Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Doll’s studio in Buffalo and then everything else with our producer in New York City. It should be an exciting and busy year, full of following things I really care about. The experiences I have this year will most likely affect me for the rest of my life. I’m excited for them because I know that if I’m doing what I love, I’ll be happy no matter what.
